Founded in 1895, with the support of some of the most notable and successful men in the United States, including Jay Gould, Cornelius Vanderbilt, J. Pierpont Morgan, William Rockefeller and Amzi Lorenzo Barber. The establishment of Ardsley Country Club, known at the time as the Ardsley Casino, and its prestigious new clubhouse set on the banks of the Hudson River was a nationally noted event.

C² Limited was retained to lead the multimillion dollar redesign of the clubhouse in association with Crozier Gedney Architects after a devastating fire which ravaged two thirds of the historic brick structrue.
