The exclusive Beach Point Club of Mamaroneck New York is a membership owned, family-oriented club situated on Long Island Sound. Beach Point boasts breathtaking views, a beautiful clubhouse with a first-rate dining program, a full service marina complete with an Ideal 18, crew and junior sailing programs, a summer day camp, har-tru tennis courts, a platform tennis complex, a beach bar & outdoor dining pavilion, swimming pools, cabanas and a beach.

C² Limited was retained to develop the interiors and detailing for a clubhouse renovation that included the creation of a new social bar, casual dining venue, alfresco dining terrace, living room, reception lounge and card room. Services also included turnkey bespoke furniture and lighting fixture design, procurement, logistics coordination, warehousing and installation.

"When it came time to renovate our Clubhouse and expand our dining operation with the addition of a 4,000 square foot sports bar and casual restaurant, a number of challenging decisions had to be made. In the world of private clubs, it seems that many designers default to dark, muted and wood tones that are emblematic of a traditional golf Club. Not C² – they were able to hone in on the unique characteristics of our setting (in our case, ocean palettes, nautical elements, as well as the clean and modern design language that flows throughout our facility). Maintaining character in a private club is so important, as the character is what differentiates clubs one from the other and makes our members feel like they are home.

We were also pleased to find C² was very understanding and accommodating to our operational challenges. It’s one thing to make a space look and feel beautiful, it’s an entirely different matter to make the space functional for staff and equipment. C² accomplished both flawlessly. They listened and learned as we explained how we will operate our space, and diligently modified elements that would make our lives easier and more efficient over the planned decades of use in our new rooms.
